Fire Behind My House

Santa Cruz County, CA has a huge wildfire going through it right now. Hundreds of acres and structures burned. The fire is in the canyon behind my house. We're ok for now but my dad is outside cutting down trees to make a buffer. My mom is packing up our more valuable stuff and sent me to my room to pack for my trip to Greece to keep my mind off of the fact that we're about to be evacuated. So of course I'm on NS. Freaking the fuck out.
Its bad enough in some areas that people have been told to write their phone numbers in shoe polish on their horses and set them free. The horses will find safety and someone will contact you via the phone number to try to rescue you. Holy shit.

Please pray for the families affected by this and pray that it is contained quickly. Its really really windy and the fire is spreading like crazy. Yeah, so please keep our region in your thoughts.

and one question, do that many people have horses out there?
 
Hope your house will not burn down ... man that is shitty. I can remember when I saw the first wildfire in our region, but that was like 10km away on the mountain an it was still some creapy feeling. I cant imagine, how you must feel at the moment. 
 
wow, commitment right here, but seriously you have other things to be doing, hope you house/fam/community are alright, and have a good time in greece
