After 18 days off the slopes (visiting family in Pennsylvania) I am finally returning to Breck tomorrow. Does anybody know the conditions in the Lake Chutes at Breck? I know it is open but how is the coverage up there?
 
i was up on saturday and for this time of year there's great snow and if you pay attention you won't hit any rocks. the far west side of imperial chair was roped off but you can still do some straight lining under the chair. there were a million people up top when i was there and that lift can't handle that many.
 
Too many people up there isn't very good. I was skiing Imperial before I left and it was kinda sketch with unmarked rocks and a bunch of blown off cover. I'll check it out for sure on Wednesday.
 
unless you just want to ski park, vail is the best bet. seems like they have a fukload of snow this year.
