the flatspin hasnt been in a comp and it deffinatly wasnt hucked, and from the choppy footage i saw a big spin didnt win the contest and from the clear footage i saw everyone said fuck it and was oozing style.

yea JOI had the sickest jump i've ever seen. Not even snowboarding jumps are that sick. JOI is pushing the evolution of skiing. That fucking zero spin looked so crazy!!!

it was a perfect comp. notice how before the actual comp they had a 360 contest, then 540, then 720, then oldschool? then the next day had the real comp and pk hunder, who comes in second did a 540 nose the entire night to get where he was and he beat out switch 10s? ya.. i agree with the person who started this thread. sure, people were doing 12, 14s, double flatspins, etc.. but the judges REWARDed 540s, switch 7s, etc.

i think the x-games should either be replaced by, or become more like JOI or candides...these 2 comps definatley separate good skier from great skiers. all the x-games does is see who can huck over tables that can be found at any mountain...JOI and,especial candides have massive and ballsy features that actualy take a lot of skill and balls to hit
