Whenever I import footage from my Go Pro, i get a error message- File Error: File(s) recognized, 0 access denied, file unknown.

It accepts footage from another camera fine, its just the Go Pro footy.

I know, wrong forum, nobody checks Media and Arts

you need to convert the gopro file to an "editing friendly" file. what i do is download mpeg streamclip, its free and reads and converts all types of files. then open your gopro footage in that and export it at 100% quality and change the codec to match the timeline of your program. if your editing in final cut pro use prores422 and for others, you can use a ton of other codec options so that when you go to edit your footage it will all work wonderfully no problems

convert the video file to an editing friendly file. Google or Youtube will help just search "how to convert video files into editing friendly files." or something

Make sure your timeline settings are the same as your raw footage and if your trying to mix it with other formats you need to use something like compressor to convert one or the other.
