Final cut express exporting help

So i have a finished sequence, and i want to export in high quality, but everytime i do, neither vimeo or youtube will accept the formats, so, fellow editors, when you export your movie, what setting and steps do you do to make it work?

export as quicktime conversion instead of quicktime movie. for vimeo, 5000 kbits

Another option is to render uncompressed as a quicktime movie and then convert it to an mpeg4 in streamclip (can download it for free online). After exporting uncompressed from final cut, I export at 100% quality, limit the data rate to 8Mbps, set the audio, and then deselect interlaced scaling (I shoot progressive, if your footage is 60i you dont need to uncheck this.

Or just export full quality MOV and then open in quick time pro and export as an mov again at 5000kbps at 1280x720 (or smaller if its not HD)
