Final Cut 7 on OSX????

I've heard success and failure stories about getting FCP7 to work on 10.7 - most people got it to work with FCP 7.0.3. but I've heard that further down the line they had problems with the program and upgrading their OS.
Just rip through all the millions of threads on google-creative cow on this.
Honestly I was a diehard FCP editor for over 5 years, kept with FCP7 after FCPX came out. But recently changed my workflow to Adobe Premiere, got a version of CS5 and am very happy with it.

Yeah, it's kinda a pain in the ass to run it past Snow Leopard what I understand. I still use it for a lot of my basic edits, because it's such a great program, and it's the first one that I really learned how to use (way back on FCP3 express!)
If you can, just torrent CS5 or CS6. They'll be far less of a hassle in the longrun...
