Filthy rich vs switchblade

Title says it all, want new 2016 skis. Want a very flexy, fun, and buttery ski I ski 75% Park and 25% mountain. On3p filthy rich or 4frnt switchblade?

I wouldn't describe either as 'very flexy' or 'buttery', but if you do some all mountain, then these have a pretty nice flex.

The switchblades aren't very flex from what I understand, nor buttery. The filthy rich isn't soft but the amount of rocker makes butters easy and handles big jumps easily. The Jskis might be the most soft of the 3, but honestly the ON3Ps are gonna be similarly buttery. Both are damn great skis with just about the best durability in the game. Id narrow it between those 2 and basically pick whats cheapest, How much rocker you want (28cm on whip it, I believe 42 on FRs). I would say whip its are softer.

I've got the switchblades and to be honest I would not recommend them. Edges have died after about 40 days of skiing and I'm talking about pull outs, multiple edge cracks, edges bent outwards waiting to be ripped out along the length of the ski when I ride switch. Also the bases are sintered meaning they are piss weak. I'm actually really disappointed with them because of their fragility and weight. My Armada El Reys which have about 100+ days riding have held up better than the switchblades by a longshot. Go for ON3P

Armada Ar7s are super playful and buttery. Would definitely look into those.

are you high?

Man everyone overlooks the ar7, thinking they are just another stiff comp ski. they are actually pretty playful. they have a nice medium flex, supper stable underfoot, but they soften up at the tip and tail to give you a nice buttery feel. they arnt crazy soft but u can easily butter on them if you know what ur doing.

Yes but that is beside the point. The AR7s are a truly good park ski and I would trust them any day.

I'm not disagreeing with that, I personally really enjoy riding the ar7, but to go as far as saying they are buttery? Yes you can butter on them, but buttery is not a characteristic I would give them.

The blend is buttery, the edollo pro is buttery, the antigen is buttery, the ar7 is not buttery.

Back to topic, I wouldn't recommend the switchblade, I've have a shit time with 4frnt durability and I know other people who also have. The ar7 on the other hand...

i've ridden switchblades and i definitely say they are flexy, fun, and buttery. i am a bigger guy though so that might be why it was so easy for me to flex them.

never have ridden filthy rich but i've only heard good things.

Stinky likes to ride my switchblades.... But switchblades are soft, not when you first get them but after a dozen days of riding them they are the perfect flex! I have some edits on them on instagram : @thelaxskier and on my ns page. Pm me and I will send you a full review on them. If you want to find out more info on the FRs pm my buddy buzzlightyear! He would be glad to help you out. Peace buddy, good luck finding what you want.

How is the durability on them? Also how soft have you gotten them to?
