Filming location in CO.

Hi all,

Help! Help! I'm working on a little nifty project.

Looking for an in-bounds filming location, as an alternative to Corbet's Couloir in Jackson Hole.

On my wishlist:

- Should allow for skiers to launch and do tricks.

- Should be in-bounds and lift-serviced or accessible only with very limited hiking.

- Should be located in Colorado.

Any ideas/suggestions?

All the best,

Maybe Lake Chutes in Breck? You could probably find better stuff in like Silverton or CB, I'm just not too familiar with those mountains.

Yes! Thanks!Actually thought about it as I've skied some of them myself a few years ago (I'm from Sweden, so my knowledge about spots and locations is limited).

I guess logistics wouldn't be that bad from the top of that Imperial Express SuperChair?

Anyone who has made it up there with a film team?

Expecting to bring RED cameras and cranes etc. so it will be quite an operation.

Thanks for the pic, btw. That one was really helpful.

All the best,

PS. Anyone who can fill in on gavinrudy's input on Silverton or Crested Butte?

It's a hike but it's not very long, it would probably be pretty shitty with a ton of gear though, but you could do it.

Thanks again!I guess we just have to cooperate with the resort/ski patrol and make sure we have as many snowmobiles as possible…

Back to Jackson Hole:

Does anybody know how many hours of sunlight Corbet's gets per day?

Or rather; will the top section end up in the shadows?

For how long will you be able to film and getting a decent result?

Thankful for any insights…

Yes, if we're able to pull it off it will be quite sick.

Alternative # 1 will be Corbet's.

Alternative # 2 is definitely Lake Chutes.

Thanks for the insights. It really did make a difference.

Cheers,
