What do you guys think of the new level 1 contest? Details are yet to be released, but I think its pretty damn smart, and will lead to some great content and new stream of talent for the L1P crew.

Will be interesting. Think it will be hard to completely disregard the talent in the video and judge based solely on shot quality. Unless its a team thing.

I'm stoked to see this thing take flight. Always cool to see new talent really gettin discovered.

I am interested to hear more details about this... I feel like if berman wanted to hire someone he would find the talent himself and hire someone he thinks is a quality film maker that is able to travel a lot, etc. I think its gonna be "best edit wins a trip to *insert park shoot* to hang out with level1 and shoot for the week" which would be super fucking cool for a young filmer but for anyone who actually needs to make money it probably won't work out.

Either way, we can't say much about it until the details are released.
