Film skiers hating on competition skiers

Why do film skiers hate competition skiers so much? I mean competition skiers may not have as much style or creativity but they are just trying to progress skiing in a different way. I get hating competitive assholes who only care about winning but most competition skiers aren't. I also get having different preferences for what you like and a lot of people prefer film skiing but it's taken way too far. What are your thoughts

This isn't an arguement about which is better. It may seem confusing because of the poll but it's more just wondering why film skiers care so much about what the competition skiers are doing
