File Conversion- wmv to mp3

I have an audio file, but its in wmv format. Ive downloaded 4 converters, and 2 dont work, one made me cry, and the other one cuts 2 minutes off the end of the song. I want to get it into mp3 so i can put it on my ipod. If you have a converter or an editing program that can do this, PM me or post if you can, and Ill email the file.

There is an MP3 converter built into itunes, on a mac its under advanced im not sure where it is on windows.

Yeah, you can convert to aac and stuff, but i cant get it into itune to begin with. Its really wierd.

that's probably because it's somehow corrupted, that's why the other converters wouldn't do it.

WMV is video format.

if you have an editing program you may be able to strip the audio and then export as mp3....you can do it in final cut i know that.

could you do that? Its a video file, but there is no video.
