Fight Club?

So I just watched Fight Club. It had to be the most overrated movie of all time. First of all, the twist sucked. It was completely random and predictable. I also thought it was supposed to be a drama, not an awkward comedy. It also bothered me to see an extremely ugly emo smoking girl naked and appearing most of the film. And in the end how did the main guy survive shooting himself in the mouth? Another thing is how did they stop and explain things in the middle of the film like they were making a documentary together It just didn't do it for me. The only thing I liked about it was Edward Norton and Brad Pitts acting skill.
Dont say troll or your karma goes down.

What!
Obviously you don't understand the movie.
He's bipolar, meaning Brad Pitt is only a figment of his imagination. He IS brad pitt. But doesn't realize it because he creates an alternate personality that no one sees but him. The things that Brad Pitt (alternate personality) do are actually things that the other guy does. Everything pans out. Thats why the explanation is in the middle. And at the end, when he shoots himself in the mouth, its because he comes to the realization that he has to shoot himself to simulate shooting his alternate personality in order to kill it.

this and david fincher is jesus. seriously i just finished the final movie by him that i havent seen and it blew me away just like all of his other films. fight club is pure cinematic gold

Troll

Err...no, you're just too young to understand it. Watch it again when you're older, or do some research online. The internet is a powerful tool.

And don't you DARE touch my karma. It's mine and not yours to take.

Fight Club is much better to watch without talking to anyone else about it. Some movies get a little ruined if you have talked about them before you see them so maybe this happened to you. That said, it is a great movie and the pixies song at the end is filthy.

I have a very loose understanding of what being bipolar is.

I was trying to explain what I saw in the movie.
Sorry if I offended you?

Being bipolar is being manic-depressive but fight club is more like schizophrenia combined with multiple-personality disorder.

Let me begin by saying: troll.
Look if the genius of the movie was beyond your comprehension why don't you stick to Disney movies or something. Fight club was a masterpiece.

Fight Club follows its decent source material well, but not meticulously, leaving enough space for creativity for the filmmakers.

That's exactly what happened, the film is a masterpiece. From intro to outro, nothing could be added or taken out without hurting it. If you have the DVD, even the disclaimer is written by Tyler. What's not to love?
