so Coachella 2015 lineup has been released.
looks good and all, but I'm on the fence if I still want to go or not. There are a few acts I would love to see, like alt-J, Ratatat, and St. Vincent, but I just don't know if it'll be worth the ~$1000 trip.
Gonna have to think about this one.

Looks weak this year. Some good sets throughout the list, but disappointing after coming off strong lineups the last two years.

Acdc and drake headlining? I rather saw my ears off and spend a 1000 on a ski trip...or a better festival with my ears..
I generally post about how the coachella lineups really fell off maybe 4 or 5 years ago. This is my post about that.
That festival sort of died.
Fish NYE Miami was the heat. Literally. Fucking 90 in january? JEsus fucking christ. GReat shows though. Hell of a road trip. Unfortunately missed all the after parties including my boys the heavy pets nye to sunrise set, dopapod, and some other shows. I just suck atr after parties. Had shit to do anyway. Should have gone for the first half hour then left. Could have made it in around 530 am but parking was a bitch and couldn't get a hold of anyone to see if it was still going. I guess it went till 630. Oh well. Better luck next time

So with Coachella selling out, none of my friends were able to get tickets. That being said, I'm bailing on going.
If anyone missed out on getting their ticket, I have my weekend 1 ticket ($375) and a camping pass ($85) for sale, valued at $480 (this includes shipping), and I'll sell it for $450, obo.
I don't want any low balling, but that's a decent deal for a killer weekend.

Holy fucking shit. This is how american festival lineups are like? What the fuck. Soooooo many great live acts here, how will you even have time to see everyone you want? hsajhdasjlkdhøsadhj this is insane compared to the norwegian/swedish line-ups

I wasn't aware of the previous fest x's and Watkins Glen or know anything about it but stumbled upon this rumor of phish returning for Labor Day weekend. Obviously just a rumor that the last post "confirms" it's true..

It's hard to gauge international lineups when you don't know the acts. Same with smaller fests out of region and you don't know the ragional bands for that part of the country.

I was too broke to make it to indio but superball was a good time. Actually I was too broke to be at superball. Got a free ticket for clean vibes, put my last $13 into a bottle of run on the way there. Included change from under mats. Spent about half an hour at said liquor store. We ended up with some stolen chicken to eat the first 2 days until it got fucked in the cooler.
The night before my first shift picking up garbage we were still raging/jamming at 4 or 5 am. Decided if I went to bed I'd miss my shift. Stayed up partying. Was still drinking beers as I walked to my shift at 8am. That was the worst day. All fucked up picking up garbage all day. That said some people in alaska were hooking me up with burritos and was getting mixed drinks from all kinds of people.
It kind of sucked being super beat at night when phish was playing. Managed to get to the rail sunday night. Regardless, being at phish and picking up garbage/being tired = better than being at home and not being at phish.
Ended up slinging some smokes and whatever to buy some lot food and $1 beers.
Great weekend.
R.I.P. Jerry from burlington. Had an awesome night with you and the girls. Think about it from time to time. Great person. Saw one of the girls on cheese tour and we talked about it a bit. Way too young but a great dude and glad we were friends even for a short time. RIP

Thinking about hitting up Wakarusa because it's fairly close to Colorado and usually has a solid, not too edm heavy lineup. The initial lineup got dropped and looks pretty decent and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of the lineup.

ahhhh shit! I have been waiting to see the Expendables. I love their old style and they're more reggae style! Hope they hit up a North East festy. I saw Rebelution last year at The Hudson Project and they were fucking fun to jam too.

That lineup does absolutely nothing for me but they'll add more.
Waka is a great fest. Would love to get back. Some crazy fucking weather that time of year in those parts though. Have fun. Maybe I'll get back to there and scamp this year

Moe.down is the opposite of Coachella: It ain’t flashy, the music isn’t trendy, and much of the crowd doesn’t even have a Facebook account. But it is real and the music is consistently spectacular.

At least the sketchiness died. That move after the 10th one, phish coming back on tour, and some other things really took it's toll on the numbers.
Still a great fest. Was bummed to have missed it this year. Thankful for the previous 6 I was able to attend and all the lovely, fun, and downright weird people I met because of it.

If you do waka 100% GET ONSITE CAMPING!!!!!!! Fuck the offsite shit. Also be careful when leaving there, if you hike to the waterfall, go down to the river, r hit the offsite don't do anything stupid, watch out for 5-0.

Figured some festie people know about Alex and Allyson Grey and wondering if anyone had ever actually been to the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. I have my ticket to go to a full moon gathering there, I heard Tipper plays there a lot, and I'm interested to see what it's going to be like.

Tickets are $100 for GA pit, $60 for nosebleed, and $100+ for evrything else it looks like. I would consider going if I could snag some ga tickets but they'll probably sell out in a couple seconds I would imagine.
Well there were pretty strong rumors for a couple weeks. Would have liked to hit spac but whatever. Will probably go.
I wanted the og four to get back together anyway. I preferred that to furthur. wish I had done more of the 09 shows. Oh well.
