word is they've expanded their snow making and will open by november 22nd.....i won't be there though, i'm taking a year off to check out new zealand.

ya the skatepark is weak, but still fun. all i know of bike trails there is that there are some sick ones up the hill behind the skate park a ways. by a cemetary or something? anyone know of this?

 
the skatepark sucks? that casue you fools dont know how to ride...as far as im concerned it takes millinium any day

yeah, the westside skatepark is great when there is no one there, but it getts really busy with 10 year old skaters who dont know what they are doing

Westsides fun but seriously fernies fun for 10 minutes and then you relize that the park fucking blows. The trany so kinked its not even funny. Cranbrooks an ill park. Then you got ben lee in kelowna and all the great parks around there like armstrong. Armstrongs park has the illest bowls and tranny.

i ski at fernie every weekend, its the best there, i think they are planning on putting a tow-rope on the upper mountain park, they better build more features there. last year the park was a little lame, any run there always beats the park on a powder day.

 
^word^ that would be so perfect to have a tow rope because you can't really do rounds on the park because you have to go all the way to the bottom and take the timber and white pass chair up so that would be perfect!

i haven't been up the timber chair with my bike yet! is it sick? ya playground to phat larry's is pimp, but i suck and i fell bad on phat larry's but it was still really fun.
