I am going to fernie this march and I am wondering if they have any sort of park, because the trail map did not show anything.

they owned by Resorts of the canadian rockies

i think RCR removed all parks from all the resorts :(

but the pow is sick

note: i haven't been to fernie for a couple of years but i seem to remember hearing this and the pow was ridic

they have a tiny park thats about 300ft long under the bottom of the bear chair. but its a solid little rail park for how much space they have to work with

because of RCR's decision to get rid of jumps and only have small rail parks, I have decided to boycott RCR, and recommend everyone to do the same.

So, on that note: I recommend you don't go to RCR. And besides, almost all of BC is hurting for snow this year. there's some snow in the forecast over the next week here, but I'll believe it when I wake up to it.

ya there park is a joke, so if thats what your looking for, sunshine, cop, lake louise all have pretty good parks nice and close to fernie. and as for them having pow..... not so much this year, but they have had amazing years in the past

its 47f partly cloudy, and rained here yesterday. FML ski season will be over next weekend is my prediction. FUCK.

it wouldnt be that long, because i am sure he wouldnt be coming FROM fernie, as all he has to do is change some plans. but you are right, its not that close, but i have been on 24 hour drives, so it doesnt seem that bad.

I was just there for march break and they had a tiny park with about 10 rails/boxes and no jumps :(

so dont go there for the park, snow was pretty good though for march and that was sweet

a while back fernie had a LEGIT park not just a bunch of boxes. they used to have the nastyiest step up but now your not even allowed to build jumps oh well i guess thats what happens when you leave the hill in money hungry murray edwards hands
