Feeler: HV40 + Accessories

Not sure if I want to sell it yet, but I figured I'd give M&A the oppurtunity to buy it first before I head over to WTS or eBay... Just checking interest and how much I could get for it at the moment though.

I got an HV40, about 100 panasonic tapes, Raynox 52mm wide angle, Hoya UV filter for the wide angle, 190XDB sticks with 701HDV head, Lowepro bag, cleaning cassette, and a couple of step-up rings... Any interest? How much do you think I could get for it all? Pretty much brand new, bought it at the beginning of last season hoping to use it, but I ended up skiing more than shooting so in total I've probably recorded less than 5 hours of footage on the thing...

I'd say that setup is worth about $550. It would be perfect for anyone looking to start out.

the tripod and head alone cost about 225 new so the whole setup for 550? in youre dreams maybe.

Haha thank you... No way in hell I'd sell ti all for $550. I believe in total brand new I bought all this stuff + 3 hi-capacity batteries and a couple chargers for about $1500 shipped. Would be stoked if I could get atleast $1000 or so for it all, considering it's all pretty much still brand new...

There's no way you're gonna get $1000 for that, maybe 750, or 850

Haha damn, you're right $850 sounds about right... And that's still probably optimistic...
