Feeler: 06/07 Line Sir Francis Bacons with Scratch 120's

So, do to REI fucking up twice on the mounting my 06/07 EHP's and then refunding me for the full price of this years EHPs, I might be getting some AR6's and JP vs. Julien's. So, pending that I can get those skis, I was thinking of selling my Sir Francis Bacons. They have about 40 days on them. I bought them new this summer with some P18's. Then I got my EHP's and put the P18's on them and then put some sratch 120's on the bacons for a 336 BSL at recommended. Pretty good condition. No core shot, but some scratches that I had filled in by Porters. A tiny bit of chipping along the inside left ski that is about 2 inches long and about a cm in. No rails, but a few boxes. Will have tuned by Porters if I decide to sell them. Not really open to trades as there isn't anything I really need, unless you got some 188 JJ's, but feel free to post some. I won't be able to get some detailed pictures until this weekend for I keep them at my cabin in Tahoe. Again, this is just a feeler, but I was just wondering if there was any interest out there. Hopefully looking to get around $350 OBO with the binders. Here is an older pic of the skis, taken in November. And again, will get pictures this weekend and this is a feeler, for if I can't get the armada's, I will just keep the SFB's and don't want to let someone down. Peace and pray for snow.

I did, and sold them because i didn't think i needed lizzies and bacons. narrowed it down to just lizzies and regret that decision... So now I'm trying to get my bacons back! Lizzies were just too short for me for an all mountain everyday ski.

But why did you get your EHP's mounted at REI? Why not Porter's (you said that you will have the skis tuned there before being shipped, so I'm assuming you live near there)?
 
I don't know why. I had some gift cards and I was going up to Tahoe late friday night and wanted to ski them that Saturday. I had a strange feeling in my gut when I brought them in, but I could resist. Worse choice I have ever made, that is, until they refunded me $850.

My shop is a direct competetor with REI, and we have gotten many many a customer who didnt like their services. They seriously mount wayyy too many Integrated systems, and from what I've seen, rarely get their hands on flat skis to mount... especially fat ones.

I cant tell you how many times we have gotten people coming over to our shop to have us repair their mistakes... Guy came 2 weeks ago with a pair of AR5's he wanted to have mounted with some 4frnts. They tried to mount them with a marker jig or something (at least thats what the hole pattern resembled) It was pretty pathetic, I must say.

Mistakes ARE going to happen. My guys in my own shop have made several mistakes this season, but when you're dealing with a pair of EHP's or something, you're going to need to make SURE that you do it correctly, because those are the customers who know what the fuck they are doing in the snow...

Being the anxious one that I am, when I never heard from dex when I was expecting to, I started to think the deal with the jp juliens fell through. another pair of bacons was on tgr, and like 1 hour ago, i jumped on them, as i didn't hear anything else. I just heard from him, and the poor guy has a legitiment excuse. SO< these are back up for sale, please somebody buy them. They are super legit. If nobody does, I promised Dex I will just because I already told him I would.
 
sorry, don't want to seperate the skis and binders, unless you can find someone who wants just skis.

as i told carrphoto, i don't really have a need to sell them, but since i am getting a sick hook up, I thought i would try and hook someone else up on ns. now I am way more open when it comes to trades. if you got something cool you think is worth bacons, just send me a pm or post it. I'll be in and out of the hospital so I might be slow to respond to pm's (again, sorry carrphoto) but i will get back by the end of the day. peace and lets pray for some snow.
 
yo, sorry to be so slow to respond to everyone pm. my mom has been in the hospital for brain surgery so I have been there most of the time and they don't have easy access to computers. anyways, skis are sold. thanks for those that showed interest and sorry it didn't work out carrphoto. hopefully your bacons are treating you well. how does one get the thread deleted? mod's delete please.
