FCP7 + Lion

Quick question, those of you editing on a MAC with Lion as the OS, how is it going? I am in the process of switching from FCPX to 7 and have my Snow Leopard disc here at the ready...because I am having trouble with Lion + FCP7 install. Any benefits with this whole Lion non-sense, I feel like it's not giving me much more to do..
 
i don't know how much of a help i can be because im still on snow leopard with fcp 7 but the main reason i didn't upgrade was because of all the negative remarks and difficulties people were having with lion and fcp. although i have heard that it is possible to make it work smoothly but i don't really know what needed to be done. thats pretty much why i stayed on snow leopard, and just using lion on my buddies comp sucks in general i think.
 
no one knows a place where i CANT get a serial for FCP7 do they? i've been looking forever...may downgrade to snow leopard once i get it running
 
I run fcp7 on lion, originally i had problems with cinema tools, but i've been pretty busy so I haven't used it much lately, and I am transitioning to adobe. I just took the same stuff I had on my iMac with leopard, and transferred in to my new mbp with lion. A few software updates later things seemed to run alright. Wish I could be more helpful
 
I honestly do not notice much of a difference.

Not that I'm doing anything really serious on it, although I did have some problems with cinema tools to start off with- all fixed now though.

Can anybody provide a link to a torrent or dl of cinema tools that works with lion because I cannot get mine to work for the life of me.
