what is your favorite place to ski around the mountain BESIDES the park

i personally like the dragons tounge - whitetail area lots of good glade drops

i also like the powder chair trees if i feel like skiing steep with lots of big drops with nice landings

I like taking laps on the falcon chair if the weather is nice. youve got so many options there. and there's lots of little hidden, fun, things. So yeah, falcon chair

def falcon on a good day. theres that hit about 3 towers from the top where you have to rip around the tower and point it over a 20 ft drop but also clear 20ft of horizontal exposure - best hollywood hit on the hill hands down, total blind take off, so u gotta be on your line.

you land balls deep in this narrow slant chute which feed the main chute skiers right of the chair.

Plus all the hits up off the knoll skiers right of the main run are sick as hell, u can find double and triple stagers (accidently some times)

yeh, cant wait for it too open once they stop lying about the base and it starts going up not down. anyone else laughing their arses off that weve had about 4 feet of snow since the base first hit 200, the temps never got below zero, yet the base is now 199.

if you like a drop like that i know one on the pow chair its to the left side if you are going down and right side if you are riding the lift its about 1/4 of the way up the chair just inside the trees its slightly visable from the lift and its off a rock my dad says its around 18 feet you have to clear like 5 feet of rocks and its a nice steep pow landing it dosnt look to get hit often then you ride out pretty straight into a drop of a log only like 6 foot drop but you can clear so much and that has a nice landing it s a good line

i wonder if not opening the falcon has anything to do with the cliff chair being closed for the season...

the snow packs still really risky...i know a couple people who were really dumb and rode down playground on the weekend when it was closed and set off a small avy that buried them to there waist. tore one of the guys ACL...i dont think it will be open for a while...

wow, thats nuts...

also, they pulled the sign that points to the playground down... but that may have been why i guess.
