Favorite ski?

What’s your favorite ski of all time? Interested to see what NS as a whole likes. Doesn’t have to be park, could be all-mountain, powder, whatever :-)

at the end of the season my sakanas were pretty up there. I enjoyed my wets enough but i think my keys will be more fun

Among park skis pre-2020 Candide 2 was the best ski I have had so far. Unfortunately the tips and tails would explode after a month or two, but they were super fun until that.

Outside twintip-realm skiing Sakanas is better than sex

Fav twins gotta b edollos but sakanas are my fav directional

Edollos ski beautifully, too bad the durability sucks and you can only get a handful of days out of them

Their quality is insane compared to lines

Agreed. I'm on my third pair of Armadas and each has lasted me several seasons. Prior to me switching to Armada 10+ years ago, I'd only get one season out of all my previous skis...

Dang I must’ve got unlucky. Mine blew up after less than 15 days

Rossignol s3's were the first nice ski I owned and were a massive game changer for me and my brother growing up skiing.

Any big fat reverse camber Volkl ski (Kuro, One, Two or Three) was just so much fun and unlike anything else I've skied at least at the time. Plus my first backflip, flatspin, and double backflip were both on ridiculous Volkl skis so theres that

Honestly I think both of those skis are kinda outdated designs at this point and there are better options now, but I'll always have a soft spot for those. On the other hand another ski that has really stood the test of time design-wise is Armada Magic J's, I think in many ways that ski was ahead of its time

Only issue I have had is the sidewall blew out on one of my pairs but I just drilled it out and re cast the sidewall with epoxy. Way more durable then any lines tho.

Same here, probably still my favorite ski I’ve had, I was so sad when I finally had to retire them

I picked up a pair at a ski swap earlier this year for like 50 bucks and then remounted them myself. They are actually a lot of fun considering they're 10 years old

They are very flexible, most people when check out are more concerned how the do on groomers. I love moguls, steeps and trees and the fantastic for them. I enjoy them on the groomers, if I in the right rhythm they are great groomer ski. My only knock is at very high speeds I would prefer a stiffer ski.

Still Jeffereys for me. I got 102 191 and the length and width is mint. Got them mounted up +2 from rec for next season to change it up but they rip.

Don’t get me wrong I love my wides, but find myself switching out the wides for my jeffereys 8/10 days. You just can’t beat them

Fatypus D Sender 194 with the flat tail. Stable, but still so fun, and the big noses with a huge amount of tip splay were incredible for nollies.

AR7's were my first Armada's. Loved that ski, it got me hooked on the brand!

Not only did it get me hooked on park skiing, but park skis in general.. that thing could rip anywhere, and held up so well. My old pair is in solid condition still and I don’t even ride them anymore lol

It's been said before but 4frnt Devastators.

I've been a fan of no camber skis since I skied some Moment Night Trains years ago and I think the Devastators have perfected the no camber design. The ski is really maneuverable but it is stiff enough to where you can still charge pretty hard on it. It performs well going fast and making big turns but also pivots through tricky terrain better than any other ski I've been on. It just feels like a complete ski. It's comfortable going fast or slow, big turns or small turns, straightlining it or slashing sideways, buttering, and it doesn't feel like it will catch when you are off balance. Perfect ski for skiing loose but powerful. [tag=21244]@4FRNT[/tag] knocked it out of the park and I hope that this iteration of the ski stays around for a long time.

Also, if you've never skied powder will a fully rockered ski do yourself a favor and pick up a pair.

Current model Cochise 106 will be tough to beat for me. It’s always a safe pick any day.

Line Invader (2008) - honestly the most fun ski I have ever ridden

Line Chronic (2014)

Moment Wildcat (2021)

I need to try more skis, but goddamn the Wrenegade 96 tends to be what I ride 95% of days. Gonna be a sad day when they die
