Favorite ski bumming food.

fluffernutter sammy for when i go to the hill for the day... and pop tarts.

if i was a legit ski bum. water and rice.

peanut butter, banana, choco chip, honey sandwiches

good energy food to keep you goin all day but definatly not a bum food...not cheap ingredients lol

i think im going to bring a jar of peanut butter to the hill everyday and just get free crackers. hopefully it doesnt freeze in the car too much

By the way if your resort has lettuce tomatos and suck for burgers you can make a nice free salad.

ice cream, mozzarella sticks, chicken nuggets, french fries, tacos, slushies

those are all things that the cafeteria people give to me for free, burgers/dogs are too much of a pain in the ass for them to cook up for some beggar kid.

Ramen for sure....Grilled Cheese...Tuna sammiches..

Crappy frozen pizzas, whatever is a dollar each.

And Olde English 800. Yea its food :P

yep i bring my own saltines cause the mtn only gives you 1 pack of crackers for soup now....and theres a hotel that gives free hot chocolate

Chef boyar-fuckin-dee son! you can eat it cold, hot, whatever. carbs, protein, cheap as fuck, I know I'm sold. ramen is awesome too, but when you're camping the ravioli is pretty key.

thats what we used to have but now they have them behind the counter and you have to convince them you bought soup just so you get 1 pack

Eggo's with peanut butter and syrup

Wheat Thins and Spinach dip.

Mint Choco Chip Cliff bars for the chairlift lunch

Chef Boyardee, some of them are really good, sometimes, if you want to flavor it up even more, add a little bit of black pepper. Just make sure you get them when they are a dollar each, CRAZY DEALIf you bum with a few friends, a can of tomato sauce, a pound of whatever pastas, a big can of chilli beans and sometimes, if you have the money, a fresh vegetable of your choice that you add to the mix. This whole meal is really good tasting and about 1,50$ each. I've been eating it all summer. Also, rice or couscous(better tasting than rice IMO) with tuna, a fresh vegetable added to the mix and soy sauce. That's crazy good too.
Just remember to have a few spices with you while cooking, they add some flavour because it isn't your mom's meat loaf after all. Personnaly, I like chilli and five colour pepper with a grinder.
And remember to not eat too much ramen noodles as a meal, they can be ok for a snack but I find them pretty sketchy to eat as a meal too often(once in a while, DAMN it's good).
My final words would be to drink a lot of water because these meals countains usually lots of salt and it's easy to get dehydrated.
Happy bumming or whatever cheap eating situation.

satline crackers with cream cheese and jelly

creamers with sugar in them

and anything else i can find for free in the lodge

When I was living in Whistler a few years ago I was so broke we would come off the hill go straight to Merlin's and hang round next to tables where people were eating these fucking massive portions of nachos which people would never finish completly. We would then poach them off their table before the waitress could clear them away. mmmm yummmy leftovers!

last post but yeah after my first run in a night comp walked into a restraunt found a half eaten place of nachos munched with some buddies went back out and slayed

well some places like Alfs at Alta puts out lettuce leafs tomatoes and pickles for the sandwiches, but if you take a letteuce leaf put some tomatoes and pickle on there some ketchup maybe some mayo and top off with another piece of lettuce you got a sandwich.

or ketchup packets and hot water to make tomato soup

Theres a Dorrito's distributor in my town that is the half way point to alot of delivery's... they have a full dumpster of free chips that get thrown out three days before the xpiration date. Last run at that i got about $800.00 worth of free chips.
