I know (a good chunk) of NS really likes mashups (minus e-603 haha) but everyone cant like every second of every mashup right? What are your favorite parts of certain mashups so everyone can here, AND POST A YOUTUBE EMBED IF YOU CAN!

Ill start off with a pretty popular one that a lot of non mashup fans seem to like from GT (I wish it was a bit longer):

Honestly, i dont think think this idea can work....

I know what you mean.. like when i am listening, i sometimes wish a part would go longer...

so i will use this post to post all the legit and semilegit mash up artists i know of, and you should add more so i can get learned.

Girl Talk obviously

Milkman

Easter Egg

Flosstradamus

Super Mash bros

Comic Strips (i think he is on NS, his shit is legit.http://www.facebook.com/home.php?re...524797#/pages/comic-strips/43715401193?ref=ts)

10k Each (also small, and only has a few songs)

basically if your into mash ups, you should have each of these people's songs IMO

IMO mashup artists like the ones above are geniuses. It takes a great deal of talent to get the timing right and figure out which song go well together. Just thought id speak my mind

his ns name is tommh4161. his song "thomas the thug engine" is featured in dan dougherty's summer contest entry, as well as his segment in my movie, let em know. shit is definitely legit

o my god girl talk sucks.

how could they be that hyped? i never heard them till now, but they sound like music for kids with sever ADD. using two completely different instrumentals and fucking up that biggie verse takes no talent whatsoever.

i'm not gonna hate but you really do need to listen to his full albums to appreciate his genius. don't judge him till you've heard them

this thread is a perfect opportunity for me to pose a question that's been pissing me off for months. E-603 and Milkman both use the same instrumental sample at very different speeds in their mashups, and for the life of me, i can't place what it's from. the E-603 track is around 1:30 on "still riding" off the torn up album. its the beat under apple bottom jeans. milkman's is 20 seconds into the track "can you work that"
HELP!
