Favorite insta skiers

i think creating that title invalidates their skiing a bit. kind of like calling artists or photographers or athletes "content creators". what makes them an "insta skier"? both krypto and yohan are involved in full scale projects, so it's not like short format is their only vessel in which we see them ski- i think its a stretch to label them as that.
 
I don't think it is bad at all. I just thought that a skier who has grown solely from posting on Instagram and doing social media stuff, like SLVSH and youtube. I think it is appropriate to call them "insta skiers". Although I meant nothing by it, I see nothing wrong with it. I just want to see whose clips you always find yourself watching.

"Insta skier" is a total misnomer for yohan, he's literally in buldozlife lol. That being said, there are a lot of skiers who exclusively post themselves shredding their local and I still fail to see an issue with that tbh. For example @kosk_k on insta only posts there but his content is still super enjoyable.

Basically, a skiers a skier dawg i think we all watch who we wanna watch, and how we watch them just happens to be up to that skier

I think being an insta skier is a very real thing but its getting thrown around too loosely in this thread. Imo an insta skier is someone who only posts insta edits for clout and recycles clips and does wack nbd tricks solely for the purpose of getting reposted. I think you can be someone who only ever posts clips on ig and still not be an "ig skier” its more of a negative connotation for clout chasers then about how much someone is actually posting on ig.

Its not the worst thing you can be, but im Just not a huge fan of ig skier type ppl cuz I don’t like the idea of doing shit solely for attention purposes. I think it takes away the soul and meaning that skiing has to offer when you do shit for personal reasons and not for attention
