Favorite City?

Best:San FranBostonDenverNYCPortlandMilwaukee
Worst:Billings MTChicagoOmaha NBBuffalo NYReno (but really I love Reno)

your right a river that flows into an ocean that is in the middle of the city. means its land locked.
look at a map. at least we get sun in Portland.

Seattle has pike street market....

if it's not on the ocean or an extension thereof, it's landlocked. Seattle is on a lake, has lakes within, on a river, and on a sound. Better than a fucking maze of bridges and bike commuters (although we have plenty of the latter).

Gotta rep OAKLAND!

I cant really say I have a fav city though... SF is amazing as fuck, theres always something happening there, San Jose is the best place in probably the whole country for a lot of Asian and Latino cuisines... Portland is weird as fuck and awesome because of it, Seattle is like San Francisco, with a smaller feel, and that whole Northwest vibe going on...
I know, I've stuck to the west here... but I guess I'd have to say I really had a lot of fun whenever I've been to New York, and Chicago... and Austin Texas is actually tons of awesomeness.
Mexico City is fucking incredible... and same with some places in Guatamala that I went through when I was down there travelling.
Least fav though? Not a fan of Los Angeles' pretentious vibe, and Miami Florida was such a letdown... a sweltering, deadly hot letdown... (DC sucked too for similar reasons)

A little bias but got to go with Denver

300 days of sunshine

Great restaurants

Awesome music scene

Redrocks

Housing is still affordable

Light Rail

One of the biggest things I notice when I go to different cities is that everyone in Denver has a thing. You are either a mountain biker, a skier, a climber, at hiker, a camper, some outdoor activity that you are way into. Sometimes all of the above but just about everyone interesting I meet is really good at at least 1 thing.

When I go to Houston (which we can all agree is the worst big city in America if not the world.) no one does anything. They are all fake as shit and drive Mercedes at 50k a year. I fucking hate that place.

Other than that Chicago, Boston, and San Fran. Pretty typical list, but none of them can beat the weather in Denver which is the best kept secret of the city. I had some cousins come in from Boston and they thought it was going to be like the movie Alive or Tibet or some shit.

NYC

Then Wash DC, Chicago, Vancouver, Burlington.

Denver was meh but I wasnt old enough to really party when I was there.

all of colorado has a really outdoorsy vibe, and most people do it because theres better biking/ skiing/ hiking than almost any other state (bigger mountains). my favorite cities are oakland and san fran or Vancouver is pretty down too.

Too many to list:

Los Angeles and Chicago for the biggies, Portland and Vancouver for the smaller metro areas, Montreal deserves a special mention.

Surprisingly, I'm a fan of the Rust Belt, Detroit for its awesome buildings and optimism, Buffalo for the architecture of a once-grand city.
