I was always a extra sharp aged white cheddar guy, but the other day the wifey brought home some smoked gruyere... and holy moly am I in love.

You gotta try smoked gruyere people! I had it with crackers, in a bacon smoked gruyere meatloaf, and also in mashed potatoes. Damn is it good.

Have you ever tried smoked gruyere by any chance? I would say its very similar except the gruyere is probably a little less sharp tasting and has a more creamy texture.If you like smoked gouda though you will love smoked gruyere.

Guys, Bleu isn't a cheese either, rather a family of cheeses. You're most likely thinking Gorgonzola or Roquefort, possibly Stilton
