the royal tenenbaums.

my favourites always change, but this movie i have watched many times over the previous year or so, and i just can't stop watching it. it's not simply the movie, but the whole feel of it. the sets, the way the jokes are so subtle, the way all the actors are just so underspoken. this movie just seems to capture the feel of life as it is around me. another thing that i find amazing about it is the fact that every person, say over 35 i have spoken to about it just hasn't enjoyed it the way that i have. it seems to be a movie for our younger generation of somewhat intellectual people. everything about it is just so clever.. i'll stop drooling about it now and leave u to go check it out for yourself.

Yeah The Roayal Tenenbaums is a fucking sweet movie, it has everything. The soundtrack is really good as well.

Lord of the rings does not compare to Donnie Darko, considering the amount of money time they put into Donnie, very little. Lord of the Rings, is good for a fantasy, but donnie combines it all, 80's nostalgia/time travel/sci-fi/adventure/superhero/lovestory. It has it all.

yeah i have read the first one, i actually did like it beter as a book. But then again maybe that is because I hate Elijah Wood, and that little fuck from rudy. Speaking of good books, you should check out Choke, by Chuck Palahniuk, the guy who wrote fight club, it is fucking good.
