The Fauna demo fleet is stateside for a limited time.

Demos are:

Alparka 170

Alparka 178

Pioneer 175

Pioneer 184

Located on the Front Range of Colorado. I have an Ikon Pass and a Loveland Pass. Send me a message if you’re on the fence or curious about them.

If you’re nice, and have same boot sole length as me - maybe I’ll let you try the pre-production Omni 182.

Alparkas just have so much camber it's ridiculous I think it's simply to much for a park ski. I want omnis though.

And between 4 skiers they were used around 4 days a week for like 2 months and camber has barely gone down and that's with lots of flexing on purpose to try to break them in. Didn't work.

Hell yeah. When did you buy Alparkas? Pretty much all of the faunas have strong camber. The Omni you can push through the camber relatively easily though. Pioneer is stronger camber but you can load up the tails to flex through it. Haven’t skied Alparkas yet

He’s just stealing my karma, I bought them a couple months ago when they had a sale on blemished pairs.

I tried the Alparkas yesterday. I did not find them to be THAT stiff. I’d rate them like a 5-5.5-6.5/10 or so. What skis are you comparing them to? [tag=281410]@Lippamani[/tag]

Park skis have traditionally had aggressive camber

I think he’s trying to say we tried to brake them in and get rid of some of the camber but it didn’t work, not that there super stiff.

The camber gives them pop and energy without being overly stiff, keeping them playful. That combined with the full sym shape and low weight and barely existent swing weight makes them perfect to keep your progression moving. They’re a ski for skiers, not FIS WC slopestyle robots.

Ok let me put it this way, if your hill only has 230ft of elevation they are to stiff. They are the random big air ski swimming in a pool of vishnus jetskis etc. But they are stiffer than poachers and I personally don't like the amount of camber they have. Just me ?‍♂️ if I go out west this winter to visit my cousins in timberline I'll definitely borrow those for the jump line.
