Fat PVC pipes

Where does everyone get the wide pipes seen in all the summer rail/backyard without spending a shit load of money at a plumbing supply store. Tired of building the rails with 2by4s and 3/4inch pipes

Construction sites, particularly commercial buildings. You can ask the foreman or somebody if the have any leftover/cracked/dirty stuff laying around.

Plumbing supply store...anything over 1.5" diameter starts to get expensive and bigger gets exponentially more expensize. PVC isn't the best, not very impact resistant especially at low temps. Some of the other polymers used in municipal or commercial potable water supplies are better.

Unless you want to spend the money you'll have to steal one off a jobsite or something, I remember my drive to vermont to ski I'd pass a retailer for PVC and such that's a goldmine but my friends dad said it was super expensive for like a 20' fat tube.
