Fat Park skis

soft and ~100mm preferably flat or full rocker, light would also be good, im 185 6ft ride 70/30 rails//jumps blends seem like the best chice but im concerned about the weight at 185

The Blends are crap. Go with the Kartel 98, SR, or Faction Prodigy. They will cost a little more, but the performance and durability are worth the investment.

I ride blends and love them (5'9" 140 lbs.)...they may be too soft depending on how hard you ski. If that's the case, maybe try some Sir Francis Bacons...they're still a blast in the park, stiffer, and at a 108 waist. I think some sites had them for ~$350 recently which is a steal.

Otherwise look into the Faction 2.0 too

i got facton prodigy's halfway through last season, and really liked them, except i got the 178 instead of the 184 and they ski VERY small, in hind sight i should have gone 184 they probably would have worked better... right now im thinking 2.0's, rossi slat, or dynastar slicer ik im going to love the 2.0's but the 184 length makes me nervous

too pricey for me

Try to find some Jeronimos. Talk to on3p about a discount because they are ending the jmo. When I was in the factory they still had plenty left.

Faction 2.0s

My 2.0s will arrive at the beginning of september. Probably one of the best skis around 100mm.

And it's signed by Candide and limited to 50 pieces, fuck yeah!

I would say the Candide 2.0 skis fairly long for that kind of ski because it's stiffer than any other i've skied in the midfat park ski category. I'm 174cm and 60kg (135lbs). I usually ride a 178 (in blends, bacons etc) but I'm much happier on a 172 C2.0. My mate who normally rides 180+ is happy on the 178.

I've not skied the prodigy so I can't compare them to the 2.0 in terms of how long they feel, they look like similar skis on paper. But the 2.0 skis much longer than say the Blend, which has a ridiculously soft flex in the tip/tail. My 2.0s make the blends I had look like toy skis.

The SFB is a much better ski than the blend, possibly my all time favourite until I tried the 2.0, but you'd still need to go for the 184. Can't comment on the the Kartel 98 but the soul rider has more rocker so also feels a little shorter than stated. You might get away with a 178 2.0 if you are desperate to go short. 184 would still probably be better.

The 2.0 looks like a sick ski as many other people have said. I would also look for a leftover pair of S3's. That is the best ski I have ever owned, killed it everywhere.

i rode the 2014 blends in park all year last year and they are light and agile. i just received a brand new pair of the 2015 blends and am getting them dead center and riding them in the park as well. theyre buttery, poppy, light, i couldnt ask for a better ski for the park or all mountain

I managed to snag some brand new ON3P Jmos for under 300 buck off ns, so before you say something is too pricey, just keep your eye out.

I'm pretty sure the 2.0's are not softer than the prodigys, probably the same flex. They do have more rocker and less camber, so they will be more playful. You can size up too with the increased rocker.

This. The 2.0 is a fairly stiff ski but still playful because of the rocker/lack of camber underfoot. Honestly, if you are 6ft and 185 lbs and you can't play on the 2.0, it's your technique that needs some work. If you go as soft as the Blend/Shreditor, you'll most likely regret it for 70% jumps.

Ok then I don't know what to tell you. The prodigy is one of the softest skis I've ridden on, but if you want to go even softer, then maybe the 2.0's aren't for you. I know for next year they are stiffer than the 14/15 prodigy. You can go with the blend, they just have shitty durability. And factions 1-5 flex scale is just an estimate, not all 3 flexes feel he same.
