i have gone 163 on my uncles ducatti 900 that he races and i was very near shitting myself. in a car, my friends audi a4 can hit 160

my friend was driving me and him down this half-paved and half-dirt road and hit like 120 on the paved part and slowed down to like 85-90 on the dirt and we ended in the ditch without a scratch on the car.. that is after fish-tailing and doing a 540.. but like i said there wasnt a scratch in the car

 
WRX's aren't that exspensive. They start at 23,000. And are pimping just that alone. Base price WRX's beat Audi's and BMW's in the same class.

right the wrx is in the 20k range, but whoever said 40k was sorta right even though its actually 50k+...they make a hopped up wrx balls to the floor with a 6spd tranny and a ton of hp...its performance is very comparable to the M3.

i cannot believe you just insulted the WRX phrosty. it's 0-60 speed is faster than many sports cars, such at the audi TT, and doesnt suck balls like suv's do. oh and if it's handling is at all like my dad's legacy, (and i know it's much better if you get the upgraded sportier suspension pack) then the handling would be amazing. bia

the souped up wrx is definately a sports car...and thats why its cost more than 50 grand base price. suvs are nice, but when daddy cant afford to pay insurance anymore a wrx doesnt look like a bad deal(the 5spd one that is)

we werent talking about buying civics and accords. we were talking about what we have. I can not afford to buy a fricken brand new wrx. So two years ago i ended up spending $800 on a 1990 honda accord. I beat the fuck out of it and had a lot of fun in it. Also, look at the subarus from those years. They were the biggest piles of shit.

But i do agree if i had the money a subaru wrx sti would be parked in my garage. There is nothing else out there in that price range that can even come close to the wrx.

wrx is 24-25k....but u can get a civic for like 12 and an accord for like 20-25...fastest was like 130 in my friends bros civic not stock...fastest ive driven is like 85 haha but i only have my permit

but whos' spun out at the fastest, I spun out doing about 120 km/h after i started dosing and hit the slush on the side of the road driving back from tremblant, I spun out and ended up in a fameres feild, it was fucked up

I broke 2 tie-roads to my front end, and bent an axel, Way to much $$ later I got my car back on the road 2 weeks later

I have had my Passat up to the governor at 135...I think half these kids are full of shit about some of the cars going over that since most passanger cars have limiters between 125 and 135. I drove my old bosses callaway corvette to over 210 MPH but it was on a track...on the road we had it up to about 190 down the mass turnpike.

WELL, I went on a group ride, didn't know the route, and ended up flying around a corner at 160kph and the having to break hard and dip to the right (onto gravel to avoid another rider. That would have BEEN messy..i.e dead) and ended up in the ditch at 100km/h. That was on a motorcycle by the way...

Bike was a rightoff...ask Harvey, he saw it.

I still drove it home in pain....oh well, live and learn.

Most ppl who buy those types of cars dont really care that much about how fast they go, but on the topic of speed the new accords have 260 horsepower, but yeah i guess your right they are slow as hell eh bud?

I've gone 100mph in the corsica, it was shaking but it wasn't too bad. I think its governed to about 110.

and about the ski doo thing-he's talking about a snowmobile, which makes it very possible. you are thinking of the watercraft.

 
Actually, 185MPH in a 15Mph OR 185KPH in a 15KPH, is a guns drawn, get out of the fucking car, your going to jail and never driving a vehicle again.

Well here in the us a WRX will cost about 24-25K. If you'll notice the pics of the WRX STI its right hand drive and you cant get it in the US right now I've heard we will get them though and they wont cost 50K I've heard 35K. Pushing 300 hp with a six speed and all wheel drive sounds like fun to me. As for the all those Honda's its my opinion that you by a Honda for realiability and good gas mileage ( but that Civic SI looks fun).

Before I forget I've done 145 in my Moms bosses BMW but I was a passenger.
