I have the chance to score some 2004-2005 Volkl Gotamas for $420. What do you guys think? If I get them I'll be flat ass broke for the rest of the season, but they are some sick skis. Any comments on if this would be a good deal, comments on the skis, ect...

I have a few hours to decide!!! Thanks.

Right now I'm riding on the 02-03 Head Mad Trix (163cm). I'm outgrowing them a bit as I'm about 169cm tall. The Gotamas are 168cm, literally my exact height.

Well here is the deal. I live on the east coast right now. Seeing my season will last 3 more months, and I will spend one of those months at Alta. I'll be riding the east for 2 months. After this season I'm moving to the U of Utah. There I would use the Gotama all the time, and I def. won't be able to afford new skis then....

dude I rode a pair today and their so sick, go for it its a good deal and they actually really good all over the mountain, I rode groomers, ice, moguls (suprisingly fast edge to edge) and the powder they FLEW. I skiied the 176 today, and it was fun, but tommorow im trying the 183 and im gonna make a decision after that, their wicked amazing
