The official Fantasy Football thread.

Searched it, couldn't find squat, figured I'd give it a go, just trying to get a feel for how many ns'ers are out and about in the fantasy football world!

What kind of league are you in (ESPN, Yahoo, etc)

How serious is your league? (Money, yes/no?)

Is there a funny prize for the last place person? In our league the person that gets last has to pay for beer and other things for the following year at the draft.

Lemme know! Fantasy football, love it, or hate it?
 
I'm in this league with my golf club. Its like 100 dollars a person to get in but of course there is this guy who literally is retired and just sits on the computer and reads about fantasy football and has won 6 years in a row. So at this point i am doing for pure fun.

Has anyone even gotten an idea of who your looking to draft?

I have no clue yet....
 
Pretty sure me and Steezy_P are going to try to start up the NS paid league again. Any thoughts on what we should make the buyin?
 
fantasy football is life. i have been doing it for like 5 years. I do a really competitive one with my family that is sometimes for money. we usually do a $20 entrance fee with a 10 team league so the champion gets a 100 then the 2nd place finisher gets 60 and 3rd gets 40. we also make the last place finisher do something shitty to keep even the struggling teams interested.

the family league is fucking tough but the one with my friends can get wwashed at times cuz we are all at college and cant spend a lot of time editing our lineups etc..

My first pick will either be manning or a running-back depending on my position #. Then prolly 2 wr or if a qb falls that I like I might grab (but they all are pretty similar after the top tier ends)
 
12 man league with my bros we have a $100 buy in. Super competitive and so much shit talking. Our text thread often had 300+ texts when I would come out of a meeting or class

Well I'm the kind of guy that thinks a buy in shouldn't be anything less than 50 but thats just me. It's a big deal and a long commitment to keep a steady fantasy team.
