Decided try out fanduel this week, and its pretty cool so far. I will say that the match the money you put in deal is bullshit, they will give you the bonus but they gradually give you the money, so don't expect an extra 25$ any time soon. But I'm up so far, seeming like i should make my money back plus some chump change, but be aware its way different than regular fantasy football. Anyone else gotten into the Daily Fantasy Sports or have any tips for this type of fantasy football?

Also giving fan duel a go for the first time this season. Have a couple buddies that did it last year, he finished up 150 bucks. It's tough, you basically have to hit every single player in a given week.

I have 3 entries on fan duel and I'm actually not doing bad, it's up to Julio Jones, AP, Bridgewater, Matthews tomorrow to put me in the money.

i got into draft kings yesterday with 25 bucks its 50 now. so far so good for the first time ever playing fantasy sports, won it all on Baseball and bumgarnes almost no hitter.

Yeah that is one way, or you can play my way....1 dollar at a time and hope you pick the right QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,WR,TE,K,DEF to win you more than a buck that week.

Check out centsports then

They give you like 25 cents to start with and if you get over $10 you can cash out. But if you lose it you just start over.

I had about $10 on there and $40 on cent poker when I was younger.

Did golf Draftkings for the majors and the WGC bridgestone, made $40 at the US Open but lost money every other time.

Ive not made money 2 out of 8 times. Pick good players and make sure they are all playing... been sticking to MLB

Trying it for the first time this week. Set up a few different rosters in a few different leagues. Lets see how she goes

to be honest it seems like if you do a somewhat decent amount of research you will be fine on these sites. all the stories i've heard are of people at least breaking even. i would assume there are a lot of people who dont know what theyre doing signing up because of all the ads, so just be better then them

I basically figure look at espn and what they recommend, and then stay away from most of those players with some exceptions. Probably so many people on the sites just copy pasting their roster from espn

Big spread in the NYT today on online sports betting and fantasy sports, great read if you've got a chunk of time.

From the sounds of it, everyone should get their rocks off while they can because regulation should be coming shortly, particularly in light of the "insider trading" that occurred between DK and FD. That being said, I'd recommend not betting anything above just funny money. You're playing against veteran gamblers and online poker players with years of experience and sophisticated technology. One study showed that 91% of fantasy baseball winnings during a season went to 1.3% of players. This ain't your middle-school fantasy league.
