Anyone ski the falls park this season? I thought it was fucking awesome. How did the other mountains compare to it. I know Hotham's park was crap

Thredbo sucked generally, rails were okay, sprite jump was sweet ass. management not really into expanding the park there though, or thats how it seemed talking to the park crew. buller is getting our X-games this year so that could be the place to head. almost all of the resorts except thredbo have purchased new pipe cutters so it will be the battle of the ditch this year which should be sweet.

Looks like Buller will be the go for the X-games, not a real big fan of that mountain, but for the X-games i'll go any where. And yeah new pipe cutting is awesome Falls had that down pat

thredbo was gay when i was there but that was school holidays in july were there was 2 3 foot rails set up so i went skiing the main range which was o.k

 
^ kind of have to agree with ya there, buller is abit of a let down!!

Me and a mate were seriously planning a trip there but it was alot to organise so we didnt bother. ill leave all the crazy adventures to red bull.

Hey Rossi whats the falls park like at the moment. Thinking of heading up but last year when I went it wasn't even up, what about this year right now?

falls park wasnt up last week and dispite continual reassurance that it would open it didnt but it has to be open for style wars so.......

 
Last time I was at Perisher I thought the parks were pretty quality. That slopestyle course is sick and the pipe was real good.

I way overshot the little hip at the Leichardt and landed on the flat which sucked. I wish that jump in particular had been a bit better, though maybe I should go slower, or hit it at a better angle...But I digress.

I hear Mt.Baw Baw is dope and has a MASSIVE pipe this year.

Bulla pipe is so shithouse and so small when i was down there a couple of weeks ago. I heard perisher were offered it but didnt take it so when buller got the oppurtunity they grabbed it!

 
Buller's pipe ain't any good cos its pipe cutter is fucked. Apparently they're bringing over a zaugg pipe dragon for next season tho. The kickers on buller's summit are huge tho, best effort I've seen from them in a long time.

Just been up at Buller the last week. You're right about their pipe, not too good and was closed second half of the week working on it with groomers.

However I was impressed with Buller's variety of rails. They had a good range from absolute beginner to expert, although need a few more bigger jumps/hits. Snow not too bad but got exteremely wet last couple of days, almost like waterskiing, good times though.

buller shouldnt of made a earth formed 1/2pipe only summer camps on the glacier need to do that... falls park was soo sick at style wars best in oz
