I've been dying for this game to come out. I've beaten Fallout 3 4 times. And working on finishing Fallout 1.
 
haha i pre ordered this a while ago, i beat pretty much every quest in fallout three and all the expansions
 
I had 74 hours played on fallout 3 and that was one of my players and new Vegas is supposed to have about 10-15 add ons.

During the course of the game, players will encounter male

and female prostitutes: the screen fades to black as suggestive

dialogue is heard in the background (e.g., "Nice charlies, too! Give

them a shake for the Ben-man, will ya?").

There is also an extended sequence suggesting (no depiction) sexual

activity with a robot (e.g., "Fisto reporting for duty . . . Please

assume the position," "I suppose I should test you out . . . Servos

active!" and "Something wrong with someone if they got to f**k a

machine.")

The rating also lists what we've come to expect from a Fallout game,

such as drug use, slow-motion killing, "cracked out junkies," and

"degenerate, drug-addicted killers."

 
fallout 3 was amazing. I beat it last summer, so good. my buddy with xbox lent it to a friend and I lent mine (ps3) to another friend so we're all back in it. played it tonight for a bit, thinking about getting new vegas tomorrow. I really am just waiting on a review or something.
I'm assuming it's a whole new game- not moving on from the last? I haven't gotten the dlc from fallout 3, just wanna make sure I'm not missing anything
 
bump. anyone know a good deal on this game? I know when reach came out bestbuy offered a $20 gift card at time of purchase. I found it on ebay for $40 shipped, but seems sketchy..
 
sometimes my arm glitches into the middle of the screen when carrying a varmint rifle, long loading times, lag even though there is no x-box live. and that's all i have found so far while sitting at home with pneumonia.
 
This looks amazing but Starctraft 2 is still holding my interest so I'll probably skip it until it costs like $20 after the game of the year edition comes out.
 
thanks. does it really fuck up the tempo and flow of the game that much? or you can kinda just play it down and enjoy the game
 
the loading can get annoying, and it is really only laggy when you are at the hoover dam, so it's still a really fun game.
 
HOLY FUCKING SHIT...

if you're debating whether or not to buy this game, BUY IT. sure it may not sound like much coming from a girl, but, i've played fallout since it first came out. with over 100 hours in just side quests, i'm straight addicted already. fallout 3 was incredible and needless to say IGN and fellow gamers had super high expectations from bethesda to make new vegas unreal...well, so far after only about 2 hours put in, it's a 9.8/10 for me.

IGN gave it an 8.5/10 due to "reused graphics", sure they suck the mighty dick of halo hehe, but the graphics aren't bad at all. even if they spent 2 years on this game and didn't upgrade the graphics much from fallout 3, they're still phenomenal.

the opening story is amazing, but not as good as the vault in 3. plus the fact that you're out west makes it even better, mountains in the background makes for a pretty cool scene.

as for people who're having glitches...idk wtf that's about...!! i've had no troubles (so far).
