ahah thanks man, and i know, this was my first time using film burns( and probably last time) but i was just trying to get as arsty as possible, i was having problems in the early making of this video with transitions so i thought i would try some film burns out.

That song was sweet until the stupid dubstep came in. You did alot of rack focusing, i know it looks cool but man it gets so old when every other shot is you refocusing on something. Also, it seemed pretty shakey are you using a tripod?

ya man i know, i don't like dub in videos, i tried to not use it, but i had to so get that last timelapse in there. Most of the shots with the rack focus, it was my first time really shooting with the camera and getting to know the focus, so i played around with it, and i only had a tripod for the rail session and some of the colourful sunsets, My uncle bought be a tripod for my birthday, but he didn't buy me one with a handle so i can't really pan that well. do you know if other types of heads will fit on different types of tripods? I have and induro and it just has a ball-point head - for photography :( not videography...

I think you just need to save up/gather up like 200 bucks and buy a manfrotto 701 system. I understand the focusing part, just try to tone down on it a bit. With some good stabilization you'll be rockin.

i liked it, maybe a little to many burns for the transition, but looked really good, didnt like the dubstep in the end

I really liked the color throughout the edit. Super clear and nice, but I'd agree with eheath on the shakiness of your shots, and investing in a manfrotto kid. Overall good work though that was sick, I don't really care about the shitty song choice

Just to reinforce a new tripod setup would be fantastic and the film burns were alright. I guess film burn are hit or miss for me usually don't like them but in certain ways they can look really good so just pay attention to the effects you use and only add stuff like a film burn if it really adds to your video. And as heath said the 701 setup would be great!
