Fall Skiing Events In Minnesota

With fall getting started and winter right around the corner its time to start thinking about different events going on around the area. Does anyone know of any up and coming events across Minnesota going on this fall? Is Spirit planning a fall throwdown? Any resorts or shops doing any ski swaps, movie premiers, fall camps, get drunk and talk skiing? Really is anything going on?
 
Oct 1st is trollhaugens open haugen rail jam which is always fun, hyland is doing a ski movie premiere in October but I forget the date and the movie, and spirit will likely do another fall rail jam in October. Other than that you can go to buck and melt your bases/skin off on the dry slope
 
I'm sure spirit will be holding its fall throw down witch normally consists of skiing on shaved ice form 12-4 then a showing of the level 1 movie at around 7, with a full bar open all day and free gear given away at the movie. LJ sternio was there 2 years ago. all the while the ski swap is going on where anyone can sell anything ski/board related.

unless i drank too much at the bar... LJ was definitely not there
 
I feel like TGR will have a premiere of their movie in Duluth since they shot here. If not I bet there will be one through the UMD club. I've now got a good 20' tube in my yard and one of these weekends in October I'll get some ice shavings for whoever wants to scratch the itch early.
 
Saturday Nov. 4th (this weekend) is Hyland’s railjam. It was $15 but they just made it free. 1-5 pm it’s looking like it’s gonna be pretty packed
 
October 7th Trollhaugen open house and railjam

Did Spirit Mtn ever have theirs last fall? Giants ridge has a ski swap Oct 20th weekend but no word on any fun activities. Spirit and GR are alot closer to home for me
 
Funny how in just a month alot changes. I will be actually closer to Trollhaugen now just in time for the season to start soon.

I see now that GR is also having a railjam on Saturday of their ski swap weekend. I'll be back and forth alot in this next month I hope to time it right to make it to one of these events.
