its technically called a switch misty, but jon olsson and boyd easley have done them. it looks really sweet.....i'll post some video of it later

I think that that thing CR does would be concidered a switch d-spin.....where he takes of than leans back for a 180 than like dives forwards rotates around his shoulder and pops to his feet.

Alright...a switch misty as in tanner halls switch 'rodeo?' or a switch misty as in a 'true' switch rodeo?

Jon Olsson does a half cab to misty 7, pretty much the same as a dspin. Also known as switch 180 to misty 7. He does it with a grab...the guy is SICK

 
As assbackwards as it seems, I believe going off a jump switch and doing a misty would actually be a switch rodeo because you're rotating away from the landing.

Yes he's right.

It was funny at the USFSO, shane szocs was talking about tanner halls stock trick, and called it a switch misty, no more then 15 seconds later tanner did that trick and Brad holmes called it a switch rodeo.

All in all, its a switch misty 7.

We call a switch front a switch front because we hit the jump switch and perform a front flip.

Unlike the switch 'rodeo' 7, when you hit the jump switch and perform a misty flip.

stupid names.

 
I'm so glad that somebody pointed that out.

Technically if we go with the switchrodeo/misty thing, then a switch front should be a switch back. And that doesn't make sense. I think the trick should be named by the body motion, and the switch part should be extraneous of that.

MD fresh has a good point. ive said it before, if a switch misty is the rotation of a switch rodeo, then a switch front and back are reversed. then all of this jon olsson havinghis skis mounted backwards would make his tail grabs really a zute or phil grabs. wouldnt they? because hes really grabbing the Tip of his ski, not the tail.
