Faction Skis?

Hey guys. I was wondering what you guys think about them. How do they ride. Are they made well? How do they compare to Jskis or HG skis. Thanks

On3p, moment, faction. In that order

Although I've never seen or known anyone with HG or j skis or kitten factory, but I hear good things

Personally I avoid line, revision, head, rossi and k2.. that also factors in personal preference tho.

Like a said partly preference, I'm not a fan of soft skis, and other than that I've/people I ski with have had bad experiences with those brands, durability mainly

also HG skis are really good in my opinion.

Yeah how are HG skis? I was thinking about the stingers. The Jskis look really cool but they are appreantly really soft which is not what I want.

If you don't want a soft ski, check out Moment Vice, ON3P Magnus, or the HG Stinger. All 3 are pretty stick and snappy. They can hold their own but the rocker makes them really fun. I only have experience with on3p and the Moment Vice. Ive heard great things about the Stingers.

They make some fantastic skis but in my opinion they are not fantastic enough to cost $1,000

They are pricy. The cheapest one is the idiom at 489$ which is a good price.

What do you have against revision. Im actually curious cuz i was considering getting the dimes

I've only ridden one pair, not actually sure what the were as the were a prize my buddy won. I just didn't really enjoy riding them, they weren't anything special. long story short they didn't survive a full season as a part time ski, I've heard it from other people to.. and a bad ski if your on a budget tho, get what you pay for imo. surface is similar in the same way just funner imo

I have had a pair of faction Candide 1.0's that have somehow lasted 3 seasons, they ski great with very strong side wall construction, and they have a full edge which is really nice. Although the top sheet is really fucked, like basically gone. They are only 90 underfoot so you'll need at least the 2.0's(which are more expensive) if your on the west coast, but mine have been extremely durable and reliable on the shitty ice plates of the east coast. I'll most likely stick with faction for my next ski purchase.
