I've heard issues from people in past about the thin bases, thin edges and delamination issues. Does anyone have any experience with the candide lineup in regards to its durability?

sadly heard bad things from people. the edges pull out a of the tips a lot. heard some good cases though of them lasting two seasons as an everyday ski for park/ all mountain

I got the CT1 and edges on the tips and tails came off after about 1,5 months of riding but they accepted my warranty so thats the posiitive thing about Faction.

Heard a lot of bad things about the durability of last years run of 1.0s and 2.0s, but not sure about this years. On the upside every person I’ve talked to got them warrantied so at least faction will replace em

I just ordered them this afternoon at my shop. Seems like they've been working on that issue and 2019s edition should be way more durable. Let's see!

95% of days i was in park so yes.

Great skis to ski on i really enjoyed the overall feeling but they lack durability.

How do they compare to the k2 press skis?

So if I’m in the park most of the day but I like to ski other parts of the mountain here and there what ski should i go with

There are a lot of skis marketed for that kind of riding, but I'd go for some 90-105 waisted skis.
