what do you all think of having pictures on facebook of you smoking, drinking etc.... shady? or doesn't matter really... need some opinions.

I pretty much only post pics of skiing on there. I would untag since employers look at FB now if you were drinking or smoking anything other than tobacco (most employers don't give a shit about that). But yeah, I hate it when kids try to be cool like that.

well idk how old you are but underage drinking means you're probably applying to college soon and if college people really want access to your account they can get on and see pics of you. some interwebz safety lady did a presentation at my school and told stories of all these kids getting their spots revoked because of facebook pictures
same thing goes for applying for a job
not saying it's gonna happen but it definitely can and it has in the past

there's no reason to advertise your illegal activities to the world. If it's a funny picture or something it might be worth keeping but otherwise your real friends know who you are and what you do so there's no reason to set yourself up for trouble by the wrong people seeing you do stupid/illegal things. this includes girls

My friends brother got a co-op placement at Ernst & Young, a pretty big Financial Services firm, anyways his first day of work he shows up and his coworkers had already dubbed him "bong-boy" from a picture on facebook. You'll be fine as long as its private.

holy shit there are wayyyyyyy too many people that do that, and its fucking pointless.

but yeah i always untag myseelf from pictures of me drinking or at a party. kids in my school were dumb enough to put pictures of themselves drinking during soccer season, so when one kid got in a fight with another. the kid that was not on the osccer team went to the coach and showed them the pictures, and about 5 or 6 kids got kicked off the team. i find that its just not worth it. as someone said before, your friends know who you are, and know what you do no need to broadcast that you get drunk and high all the time.
