Facebook is taking over!!!!

I always hated myspace untill my friend made me one.. then i hated it less.

Is Facebook actually better?
 
i'm so sick of hearing about both. i was hoping once you were in college people would maybe not be so obsessed with it. but all it did was change from being myspace to facebook. i can't count how many times i've been pestered to get a facebook. well fuck you, if you have something to tell me, walk the 10 feet down the hall and knock on my door.
 
facebook was cool when i first got to college because after you meet someone you can talk over the internet because you can find them in your network, but then after awhile it lost its appeal.
 
then it happens. you realize all the kids at school do is hype up this weekend's wicked party at his house over facebook and at school.

some bitches go with their cameras and take 70 pictures of the party. they're in 67 of them. every picture features a bunch of bros and bitches holding up their alcohol beside their faces and doing a funny pose. it's awesome!

for the next week people post comments on the pictures.

"LMAO we are so awesome look at how funny my face is and look at how much alcohol i drank!"

"LOL I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER TAKING THIS PICTURE!"

fucking dumb.
 
facebook si good for event snad keeping linked with firends and what happening. Its easy to use and has lots of features that work well for buiness and social activities.

Facebook would be good if it didn't have all the applications, although I do use some of them (Cheezburger, Daily Babe, Love Football and Jetman) I would like it much more if they got rid of them all. And the pictures can get redic.
 
I know. Im dead serious when I say that 75% of my school got one over night. I thought about it and then was like nah. Then I was like ehh and tried to sign up but it wouldnt let me so then I was like psshh. Now im like waaaa cause everyone and their mom has one. wtf
 
I'm pretty over myspace, it's too spamed out. I haven't seen a profile in a long time, that actually had a real comment on it, instead it all this "you won a purse shit!" I wasn't really feeling all those applications facebook added, but i've guess that grown on me. I hope it doesn't get infested with spam cuz that would really suck, facebook makes my life lol!

but its weird cause she can see all the pictures of "bad" things i do but whatev
 
I dont usually talk to people I see every day on either one. Maybe thats why they are cool, you can communicate without seeing someone. Its kinda like email, but email that you allow everyone to see. its a window into your life, or what you want your life too be. I need more bongloads.
 
its getting pretty gay. i realized this while walking to one of my classes, i walked through a cafe in one of the buildings, everyone was on laptops, and i casually glance at their screens, 12 out of 12 people that i looked at were on facebook, now everytime i walk by there are at least 80% of the people on facebook, it just disgusts me thats all these people do.
 
I agree 100% I deleted mine about a month ago and people pester me to take it back but it just feels great to be off of that shit. I realized I gained absolutely zero from it.
 
It was great when it was just for college students. Then they opened it to highschoolers, and then businesses. It still wasn't bad at that point.

Then they added applications.

FUCK APPLICATIONS. I WANT THE OLD FACEBOOK BACK.

as far as i know no one uses myspace anymore in my town. facebook is much cleaner and u dont get random ads from bands and other worthless shit. i like facebook a lot better but with all these new application things its turning into myspace a little. i liked it better when it was just your wall and pictures. but to me its a way to see whats going on in my town now that im at boarding school.
 
and you always hate those people who have like 50 applications and you have to scroll forever to find their wall
 
I've found facebook to be pretty useful on some occasions for finding out about events or random ski seshes that i didn't know about. It's fucked that it's gone past like a communication device tho and it's like part of people's real life. Like the dumb girls who bring their camera every where to parties just to show the world how coooool and drunk they get with all their hoooes.
 
I would say probally 75% of my school has a facebook. Myspace is becoming less popular and facebook is starting to be filled with stuff that myspace has.
 
I dont care about you or your friends think.

And for that article above, that is so stupid on the part of the fairy. Jobs always check those shits.
