so i was fuckin around and messing around on the log on page, and i just type a whole bunch of random shit and kept getting my password wrong. i did it to many time. and now it says

You have exceeded the number of invalid login attempts that we allow for your account.

and it wont let me log in, it says i have to reset my password, but i remember my password and dont want to change it.

so my question is. do i have to change it or will that message go away soon? or is that message permanant?

I think you have to e-mail the facebook administrators form the registered account e-mail address, asking them to reset the password.
 
Well you're probably just trying to break into someone else's facebook or something, because there is no way that you would be doing what you say.
If you go to reset your password, you can keep it as the same one. But you will have to go through the steps of reseting it. So they will email you a link to follow to reset it.
 
nah. i wasnt trying to break into some one elses. im just bored. and my boredness costed me...
 
Well then, just click on forgot password or whatever it is and it will send you an email. The email will have a link. Click on the link and you make a password, and it can be the same as your old one.
 
hopefully... some websites dont allow you to have the same one twice.

if anything, click forget your password then add a number or something to your old one
