So I just reactivated my profile after like 2 years and I immediately regretted it. Within like 2 minutes a bunch of obnoxious people are blowing up my fucking facebook chat thing. Is there a way to be visible online to only certain friends?

go into chat, click options, click appear offline

can you still chat with people that you actually want to talk to and appear offline?

make a friend group of people you actually like, and under chat for "other friends" flip the switch so you go offline with them, but you will still be online with the good friends
