Eye Trip vs. Revolver

so the debate of the year

Which did you like more Eye Trip or Revolver???? I know others movies may have been better but i think these two have the most well rounded skiers and movies so for comparison purposes its between these two.

I like Eye Trip more in general because all the shots were bangers. Revolver got a little bit boring in the midddle

opinions? thoughts? GO!!!!
 
revolver for sure, eye trip is my least favorite level 1 movie in like 5 years. revolver was a little long, but alot of it was awesome and it was better than eye trip in pretty much every aspect (except delorme) and JP's segment was sooooo awesome.
 
I'm going to go with revolver on this one. No hate against level 1 but I just didn't like a couple of the segments in Eye Trip. But both were great movies and I give them both huge props!!!

didnt get to see revolver but ahmet and beck killed shit in ET made me happy liked b dogs refresh seg better though
 
i have watched both in the last 24 hoursEye Trip: best ski movie i have ever seen. ahmet, B-dog, Delorme, Wallisch, Wiley, what there was of henrik, they all killed it, tons of great backcountry, amazing skiing, great shots, great edit, great soundtrack. Ahmet put together the best segment he could, crazy shit.
Revolver: The shittiest editing i have ever seen in any ski movie ever, except for the intro. The skiing was incredible though, and the soundtrack was above average.
 
Eye Trip no question. Revolver may have had banger shots, but I was too distracted by bad editing and endless dubstep.
 
lol that made no sense. If i were to purchase one of them it would be eye trip because I get an adrenaline rush when i watch casabon and ahmets parts/ really you should just see both movies :P
 
Revolver was basically "Dubstep: the Movie", but good nonetheless. Some really really rad shots. I'm looking forward to seeing Eye Trip.
 
i liked Eye Trip a lot better, i guess i should see Refresh if you guys say it was even better.

anyone selling? lol
 
the only good part about Revolver was the skiing. Too bad it was tinged with the odor of dubstep and generic filming/editing.

Eye Trip had a lil something called FLOW. pbp should take a hint
 
I found Revolver boring honestly with way too much electro-pop a too many similar shots not their best movie. Haven't seen Eye Trip yet
 
revolver was 2x too long because every shot had a different angle slow-mo follow... amazing skiing though
 
Eye Trip was better filmed, better produced and had much better vibes than Revolver in my opinion. Honestly Eye Trip could have been Ahmet's segment only and I would still have chosen it. So banger.
 
Spot on.
Revolver was overly long, and visually and musically monotonous. That's not to say there weren't a few good segments and/or shots, but the movie as a whole was an utter failure. Almost nothing memorable about it, even with Sammy's triple and Tim's Chad's footy.
 
Here's the thing. The level of skiing has nothing to do with the filmmakers themselves, so take the awesomeness of the riding out of the equation and judge what's left...Eye Trip wins by a longshit
 
everything below the top 8 posts in this thread pretty much hits it square on. Eye trip was just awesome, revolver had great skiing and tonnes of potential to be awesome, but was an epic let down, especially after edias

EDIAS>Revolver

Need to see Eye Trip now.

 
i saw both last night. eye trip was absolutely mind blowing. the urban was just insane. ahmet mightve had the craziest segment ive ever seen. and the editing and soundtrack was top shelf.

aaaaand revolver was just plain boring. the last 2 segments and JP's were the only thing i liked. just really unoriginal, i dont want to hear about skiing's pregression or technology or how it influences you. also dane tudor, whats so great about him? he pops up like a thousand times throughout the movie for no particular reason. edias was so much better.
 
revolver over eye trip. after watching refresh i expected more from level 1 this year and they didn't deliver. i see lots of people didn't like revolver that much, but personally i enjoyed it a lot! yeah some segments i could have gone without, and the movie was really long but still great

That was one of my biggest pet peeves. I thought Revolver had way better skiing, but it was wasted on such horrible filming/editing.
 
I do think its funny that everyone says Revolver was too long. But in the past, the complaint was always that movies were too short? Weird...
 
I thought eyetrip was better personally. Revolver didn't exactly live up to all the hype. Ahmets segment was especially amazing.
 
just watched revolver. good movie. wish it had some more park segments. too much dubstep in the movie. im just waiting for eye trip to come in
 
alot of revolver was ruined by terrible music and annoying editing, but jp acluir's segment was hands down my favorite segment of all time.

i would consider buying the movie just for it.

haven't seen eye trip yet, don't understand why they never bring a premier to seattle
 
YES jp's segment was sooo awesome. i honestly think its my favorite segment/edit/ whatever of all time. it was just perfect in every way. jp is fucking awesome.
 
rofl too true. Eye Trip was a better movie, all of Revolver's best shots were in the trailer and the rest felt way too much like EDIAS. the cinematography and music in Eye Trip was actually mind blowing, it lived up to its title and what it was trying go for, a kick ass jib movie with some dope pow and back country. Revolver was good but disappointing. Eye Trip was short but awesome
