If i get an external HDD that is powered via USB, can i use it on my 360 also?

i doubt it, you need the drives for it to work, i don't know if you could get them onto an xbox or not

do some googling, like "external HDD with xbox 360"

i'm sure someone has made some drivers that will allow you to do this

i know there are ways to buy 3rd party hdds for xbox, then format them and screw them into the fairings and stuff for the xbox, but iono about external...
