Exchange semester at USU

hey guys,i'm doing a semester abroad in logan from August 18 to December 15 at USU.

Anything special happening during my stay? any suggestions what to do? will have loads of time to spend since i have 3 or 4 courses only.

climb, hike, fish, preseason/ski once the snow is here.. there is tons of stuff to do in logan..or head down to slc.
 
Very interesting an international student is going to USU... Did you have an option for the U of U?
 
I guess it was skiing, or partying, ha. USU isn't exactly the best school in the sickest location. You can definitely still get out and ski a bunch though.
 
it helps the course of my studies and utah seemed better to me than new orleans. although i do not do as much as i do here in innsbruck during the semester, the experience and language ability i can get is worth the journey. plus i get 3 grand scholarship
 
You'd have a pretty messed up view of how Americans speak the english language if you went to New Orleans. I've been there a few times and it's an awesome city, but the cajun dialect is a bit difficult to decipher sometimes...

Man talk about two places completely different in every possible way. New Orleans and Logan lol
 
take a day to go poke around at Bear Lake. The locals are super friendly, make sure to pick up a raspberry shake too!
 
yeah buddy, basically lots of biking, road and mountain, some sweet hiking, short drive into salt lake or PC for the night life. Im gonna be patrolling at the ski resort here next season so i can get you rides sometimes and stuff. the only downside is no good parties/nightlife up here, all the cowboys go to bed early

My little bro is a freshman up there.. He's into climbing/snowboarding.. pm me if you need someone to chill with.. he's the most down to hit tons of urban once there is snow too..
 
I go there man. Don't come haha. The girls suck. The partys suck. The drugs are some fucking susquehanna shit. And the cops are up everyones asses. Go to U of U instead. If you want to chill and hit a dry setup when you get here hit me up and we can party.
 
i went to usu it sucks the cops hunt non Mormons like animals. make sure you stay at moutian view that where all the bad apples end, other wise chances are that youll only have mormon friends for the first week or two
 
i'm in global village on campus, everyone here hates the mormons, people are great, if anyones here just hit me up ;)
