Evolve vs. SASS

SASS fucked over a sales guy and it was posted in the forums a while back. I am not sure how it was resolved. He had some disappointing things to say about SASS and the way it was ran. He even blogged about it.
I would try and find those blog's and posts and see if/how SASS has changed since then.

Evolve chile. Greatest time of my life, the skiing is incredible, food is amazing. It's honestly one of the best things i've done.
I would strongly suggest going. If you have any question feel free to ask, I've been twice.

My experience with evolve chile was fantastic. Great program run by great people. It was one of the most incredible ski experiences I've ever had. HIGHLY recommended.

I went down to SASS last summer and it was the best experience of my life, I made real friends and had real experiences. All of the guys at SASS are great and were screwed over unfairly. Now they are dealing with the consequences of another actions, which were completely beyond their control. They are trying to regain the trust of customers and riders alike, all of you people shitting on them are making this process increasingly difficult. Just because you read one guys blog, saying "he was screwed over by the company and that the whole company is full of crooks." Do you kids really believe everything you read? How professional is it to blog, AKA shit on a company online, as well as complain about your personal financial issues on a blog? You make your decision either way, but I know that myself and many other lucky kids will be going down to SASS this year, staying slopeside and crushing POW all summer long.

Thanks and well said doggy! SASS is a part of my life and it was never about making money for be but sharing the experience and expertise of passionate riders in an amazing country. We tried to help too many people out last year and expand into a world wide adventure that consumed much of whatever resources where there. I am so stoked to get back down to South America! Chile and Argentina are both amazing countries and I wish you didn't have to make choices about which one is better. All I know is that the women, powder, food, culture, and cost of living in Argentina is... where I want to be! I wish SASS and Evolve could work together and rule South America.

Garrett, I have love for you, and was super stoked to get to ride with you that summer. I do need to address this though.

The fact that SASS represented itself as a family, and still does bothers me. When my bills went unpaid, and sh*t hit the fan for me, Travis was the last one to offer any help. His stance to me was (firmly) "There is no money, John screwed us all, and we are trying to rebuild." He also stated that should I try to seek legal action, that he had "done his homework." That doesn't sound like a "familia" to me, it sounds more like someone protecting their own ass.

Max, why you stick up for SASS perplexes me. You were talked about in the office as a "honey pot" and someone that should be milked for all they (or their dad) would spend. Why else did Travis care that much about getting you to pass math or chem or whatever subject it was he said you had to pass. You got took man, and just as good as those guys are to you now, when the money runs out, you wont be anything to them.

Sorry if my blogging about the incident was detrimental. I took the blog post down out of respect for the other employees at SASS who needed to make their own paycheck.

Original thread was here. Take it for what you think it is.

EVOLVE CHILE for sure. this was the best camp experience of my life. so much fun and by far the best skiing i've ever done. it snowed so much and was bluebird when it wasn't snowing. the surfing is great, although the water is cold, and the food couldn't have been better. i can't say enough good things to say about it. i would recommend it to everyone. please pm me if you have any more questions. i would be happy to answer them for you.
