Heres the deal I have been riding boots that are to big for me and they were really hurting my feet so I decided to go get them re fitted and try on some new boots because there is noway they could fix them. So i go to church this morning than after a good service I headed down to evo. So I come in and talk to Sean (legit dude) and he fits me for some Fulltilt High Fives. I tell him i might look around online if i can get them a little cheaper but will come to get them molded and pay for that. He says hes going to talk to his manager to see if he can work something out, comes back and says WE'RE GIVING THEM TO YOU. I was so shocked like no way stop messin with me. Hes like we'll just trade you your old ones for these. I asked why and they said we just want to see you ski with a good boot. So sick.

I am stoked out of my mind and I encourge everyone to buy from EVO cause they support the people of our sport.

whaaattt that's awesome, i will make my next purchase from evo. Even if i pay full price, just cuzz this is so legit

love their site. the only thing theyre missing is a lifetime gurantee like backcountry.com

but I still think they're dope.

yep.

and to the OP, do you think they may take back some ar6s with edge damage from last year that i bought there and hook me up with some new ones?

Wow that is a super legit story...For sure going to check out evogear more often now...I usually use Backcountry for all my skiing needs.

Definitely - bought my first twin tips (Rossi Scratch) a few years ago and they were so cool - hooked me up really cheap too. Awesome delivery time to Australia as well.

that's dope derek!evo's soooo legit!
i have my own story to tell as well:you guys may or may not know chris shalbot, but he runs the shop and is unbelievably legit. i've known him for a while, and every time i'm in the shop (i live about 3 miles away, so semi-frequently) he's there and we chat about skiing, etc. so a few weeks ago, i broke my park skis, and i took a few pictures and uploaded them to fb. i go into the shop the next day to window shop a little at some new skis and get some techs' info/recommendations. as i go up the stairs to where the skis are, he sees me and says "hey peter, i see you're here for a set of park skis to replace those ar6s, huh?" i was like "hahaha, yes, i am"
so we talked for a while, and we came to the conclusion i should get alpha 1s. aaaand he's gonna hook me up with a deal on them!

all my gear is from evo.

there's no reason to buy anywhere else. they match prices, they have a good selection, and they have great service and friendly people.

so legit and nice...thats how all the ski companies should be,you lose money by giving people great deals but you gain it back because everybody wants to buy from you.....but if all companies did that then all companies would have tons of customers and sales would be even between most companies so none would make a fortune so i guess im wrong

So after you got fitted, you told your bootfitter you were going to look for a cheaper price on-line? You sir, are a douchebag.

really cause im not alowwed to shop? i'd get the 09 ones cause there cheaper and i don't have much money. and i would probably go to evooutlet for them too. so you can screw off

haha, yes, this makes sense
why would he not be allowed to shop online?
and regardless, evo would get his business because they have a 5% lower price match guarantee.

UPDATE*

i just went to go pick them up and found out my bindings didn't fit them so they remoununted the toe piece right there FOR FREE. so lefgit

i've gotten five pairs of poles, a pair of skis, two pairs of bindings all from them and for the best prices. always been a fan of evogear and always will be.

If a bootfitter does all the work of fitting boots for you, you should pay him the respect of buying the boots and putting money towards the shop he works in.

That's pretty awesome. But as much as I love Evo, I still think it is hard to beat the epicness of Backcountry. Their customer service is just unparalleled in the retail industry. You cannot shop there are come out unhappy.

no doubt, last year i bought some armadas from them but they had laminate problems so i took em back and they gave me my current skis which were 100 bucks moreee and a free hat.
