Ever wonder where you'll end up if you dig a really big hole?

i'm almost exactly in the middle of the ocean between south africa and austrialia. /childhooddreamscrushed
 
same thing happened to me... perhaps the hole I've already started could be a tunnel instead of a hole directly through the magma core...
 
how do i land in south africa who ever said that if you dig through the eart you will always hit chins is wrong or maybe this program is wrong
 
I ended up as far from land as possible, smack dab between Antarctica, the western coast of Australia, and the southern tip of Africa. I'd have a lot of swimming to do.
 
Nah. Just go with the Geothermal for heating your house. ...or we could use it to hide the bodies of all the n00bs we've slayed.
 
just off the coast of australia. i could probably swim it if i had to, it would be easier to maybe bring an inflatable with me.
 
Well judging by the fact the earth's surface is something like 75% water, it's odd people are surprised to find out the exact opposite point on the earth is in an ocean. Pretty cool little site though.
 
If you guys were wondering, you'd have to start your hole right in the middle of argentina to end up in the middle of china!
 
this just ruins my childhood dreams. when i was 7 i dug at a hole with a spoon at the back of a school yard for a week. it got pretty deep! just checked the exact spot.. ocean.
 
damn indian ocean, how sketchy would that be to be digging and just have the ocean come crashing down
